DBD 10/3/12: Baseball

Today is the last day of the regular season in baseball. Lots of Drama is expected. The A's and Texas duke it out for the division championship during a day game. The orioles could force a one game playoff for the division with the Yankees on Thursday. The losers of those two situations will play in a one game wild card playoff on Friday in Oakland or Texas, with the winner advancing to the division series on the weekend.

Athletics supporters are hoping to avoid the wild card by beating the Rangers for a third straight day.

Seeding is up for grabs in the NL as well, between the Nats and Cincinnati, also determining which team will start in SF this weekend against the Giants.

There's more drama here than the fifth season of 90210, which is what MLB wanted when it changed playoff format this year.

For those of you who don't like baseball, don't worry, tomorrow's DBD will preview Sunday's Cascadia derby between Portland and Seattle in MLS.

Also, homecoming is this weekend: Bruins vs Golden Bears coverage
