I love the very end of that video where the announcers say after USC got sanctioned, everybody expected Ucla and Rick Neuheisal to pick up a lot of those players, but in fact it’s turning out to be Cal, which has great recruiters. Then the guy says, “Watch out for Cal!”

So are we still worrying about Ellis switching to UCLA

C’MON Teddy and Tosh, work your charm on the parents. Make ’em comfortable!

his quote was that his parents are fine with his decision, but he still has to take officials to USC and UCLA. He is still taking an official with us so hopefully we can bring him in on the 27th and keep him committed.

Woohoo!
I was curious to know if anyone knew what position Zach Hoffpauir and Damariay Drew are projected at. Rivals says DB, but I don’r know if that means Safety or CB.
Obviously we are pulling in a great class, but I believe Cal can really use an extra CB and another OL. Hence, I was wondering if either of these are slated as a CB.
I think Hoffpauir and Drew are both safeties.

IMO that is why losing Adams hurts so much
We have some young talent at CB right now but the injury to McClure makes things a little worrisome.
I thought Hill would slide to back to safety and start alongside one of the young guys but maybe we keep him at nickel and just trust two of the young guys to start st safety? I suppose we could have Sebastian and Shaq starting next season.

Jordan Payton mentioned Yuri Wright after the AA game....
"I spent 90 percent of my money on women and drink. The rest I wasted!"
What’d he say?

“Yuri Wright.”

Yuri Wright would probably be taking an official visit to Cal
"I spent 90 percent of my money on women and drink. The rest I wasted!"
If McClure gets healthy that’ll help.

he just said that Yuri is taking an official to Cal
and that he’s trying to get Yuri to go to Cal. That’s all though, nothing suggesting Yuri will commit to Cal or anything but hey he’s trying!

Can’t hurt! I’d love to see Yuri and his teammate Darius in California Blue and Gold :)

I’m actually starting to become concerned we might run out of room for all the people we want. Does anyone know how many slots we have left, in comparison to who we’re still recruiting?

I had no idea we had that many roster spots on offer. This class is going to be regoddamndiculous.
