The last preseason game should really be touch football.

I have a slightly torn achilles. Although it doesn’t affect me as much as it used to and I didn’t get professional treatment, etc., it still bothers me occasionally. its been like that for 1.5 years now. Supposedly , torn achilles are pretty horrible and take forever (if ever) to heal, but best of luck to Syd!

I tore my right achilles playing BB a few years ago. It was repaired and I wasn’t allowed to put any weight on it for like 2-3 months. I started rehab after like 2 weeks. It’s fine now and I still play softball and basketball, but it does get sore every so often. I just try to make sure I really stretch it out before playing.
I think Ronald Curry tore his achilles twice playing for the Raiders so SQT can still come back from it. May not be as explosive on the break though.

I want our team to do well, but when you look at what has happened to these two fan favorites, you also have to hope the players take advantage of being able to get a degree from UC Berkeley.
