Grandpa and Grandma Kodiak made the trip out to Boulder to watch our beloved Golden Bears take on the Colorado Buffaloes.
In their words, "Boulder is a beautiful town. Good food. Nice people. Great beers!"
And the text sent immediately post-game: "Celebrated with players. Now to a Cal tailgate. In a sea of Buffs. Oh well, it's all Bear Territory now."

Colorado has some beautiful stone architecture...But it's no Wurster, amirite?
The hallowed entrance to Folsom Field. This must be what Valhalla is like...only with less mead and fewer Vikings.
The teams warm up with the mountains in the background. It's like Strawberry Canyon, only with more lyme disease.
Seriously? A personal trailer for a burger with legs? Maybe it's refrigerated...
OMG! THERE'S A GIANT BUFFALO WITH HORNS N' FUR AND HOOVES RUNNING ON THE FIELD!!!
...And the rest of the herd...(I kid.)

It's overtime. In an apparent attempt to confuse the Cal offense, the Colorado Buffaloes have decided to use single coverage on Keenan Allen.
Keenan makes his move...
...The ball is in the air (work with me here)...KA has his defender walled off and is ready to leap!
He makes the catch! It's over! Touchdown Bears!
And the Bears have won!

Kod, Were your family and your parents in DC for the Maryland game a few years ago? After seeing your post over the weekend I was remembering running into a group on Metro a couple days before the game while I was on my way to work. The group was on it’s way to the Capitol if I remember. I’m wondering if it was you. Nice pix. Thanks.
