DBD 8.8.11: The Bay Area's Sports Radio 95.7 is Bear Territory

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know: the DBD is early.  Prior to the snap.  Yada yada yada.  And I'm probably stealing 49er 16's thunder with the images of the weekend.  For that, I have no regrets whatsoever am truly sorry.

But I had some Cal news to break and seemed like a good thing to lead the DBD with. I have from an impeccably reliable source this news about Cal basketball play-by-play announcer Roxy Bernstein: he has inked a deal with 95.7 FM The Game in San Francisco.  Roxy will  be a regular contributor to The Wheelhouse with John Lund.  You can also hear Roxy this week, co-hosting on Wednesday from 10am-2pm and solo hosting on Thursday night from 10pm to midnight after the Raiders game.  Looks like we'll be hearing a lot more of Roxy on 95.7 The Game, which should mean a lot more Cal talk on the Yay Area airwaves.  YAY!

Will Roxy say "Hammer Time" when he hosts sports talk?
