Eleven days, ladies and gents.  That's just a week and a half of killing time with fantasy drafts (Marshawn = sleeper), CGB archive-scouring (insert camp updates syringe into any open veins) and Cal YouTube highlights (can't find anything from '07...hmm).  On August 30th I'll purchase Madden '12 and draft the greatest team ever, comprised of 60% Cal players, including taking Craig Stevens way too early, but seriously have you ever had him on a Madden team?  He's the tits.

Then finally, on September 3rd, liiiiife!  Cal effing football.  Who wants to tailgate?  ::raises hand::

I'll be in Lot C with a few friends, one of whom is a cute little ginger who once successfully kicked a field goal through the uprights at Memorial Stadium and then asked Tedford if she made the team.  He smiled, Tedfordly.  We'll be in a gold Corolla with beers, burgers, hot dogs, a Cal flag and a CD playing Starkey's call of The Play, Big C and Fight for California on loop.

Since I haven't seen any posts about tailgating for the first game, I figured I'd get the football rolling.  I'm hoping to leave the Mission around 1:00 to get in, after stopping at Safeway to pick up the goods, a solid two hours of 'gating before heading into the stadium before kickoff.  I'd love to meet the CGB crew that will be attending along with any other good ol' Bears fans.

As we get closer to the 3rd we'll nail down the details but I'd love to hear if people are feeling this.
