SEVEN  former Golden Bears will be representing their country in the Rugby World Cup when it begins in New Zealand in September.   That is 7 out of a total squad of 30 players!

Forwards include Mike MacDonald (who will become the all-time leader in appearances for the USA), Chris Biller, Eric Fry, Brian McClenahan and Louis Stanfill. 

Backs are Colin Hawley and Blane Scully.  Scully stepped directly from playing for the collegiate champion Bears directly on to the national side -- nicely done.

First match is September 11 vs. Ireland and can be seen on NBC Sports, 10a PDT.
