An Interview with Golden Bear Bryant Nnabuife
We recently had the chance to chat with Bryant Nnabuife, who took some time out of his busy schedule to answer a few questions. Thanks again, Bryant!
California Golden Blogs: What was your favorite on-the-field moment at Cal?
Bryant Nnabuife: Favorite moment on the field was when I score the first touchdown(my first TD), in my first game at Cal VS Mich State in 08.
After the jump Bryant answers several more questions about more memories from his time on the team and what he has been up to since graduating.
Bryant also had a TD a few games later against Colorado State (at the 2:22 mark in the video below).
CGB: What was your favorite off-the-field moment at Cal?
BN: Alot of good memories but my fav one is being at the hotel with the team before game day.
CGB: Any plans to continue pursuing football (playing, coaching, etc.)?
BN: Yes
CGB: What have you been up to since you graduated?
BN: Training, training, and more training
CGB: Who was the toughest cover on opposing teams? How about in practice?
BN: We had alot of good WRs but if I had to choose, I'll say both Jeremy Ross and Marvin Jones
CGB: What or who inspired you to play football?
BN: I always played when I was younger,(back yard football) but when I got to high school, all my friends were playing so I decided to join in
CGB: What was it like being a student athlete @ Cal? Can you give us a better idea of your schedule and workload?
BN: alot of time was dedicated into to football and school at Cal, you have to use your time wisely especially during the season because you have little free time for the most part.
CGB: You were exuberant on the field and wore your emotion on your sleeves. How much impact do you think that had on your teammates?
BN: Its huge, knowing that your teammates are dedicated to leave it all on the field motivates you to do the same.
CGB: Who snore the loudest on the team (coaches included)?
BN: Lol I can't remember that one

Haha yeah, it’s hard to tell from the angle, but it kinda looked like he did.

Sigh. As much as I love DeSean and Nnabuife. Hold on to the ball! There’s ten yards to celebrate.
Great post! Thanks.
Cal Football: I loved them once and they broke my heart. Let that be a lesson to you. Never love anything.
