Natalie Coughlin takes bronze at the World Swimming Championships

Cal swimming legend Natalie Coughlin faded over the last 15 meters and ended up finishing third in the 100 backstroke final at the World Swimming Championships today. The bronze medal is her 17th World Championship medal won in her fantastic career (6 of them gold). Coughlin quote from the article linked above: "It’s my best time since my [18-month] break from Beijing and I am satisfied with today’s performance. Definitely I can go faster and next year will be quite promising."
