DBD 6.6.11 'Twas the Night before E3

Since 1995, the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or "E3," has been recognized as the largest trade show for the computer and video games industry. This year E3 is being held from June 7 to June 9 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Expected announcements range from a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, to Nintendo's newest console which is currently only known as "Project Cafe."

"Project Cafe"

The biggest announcement for this year's E3 is going to be what Nintendo's next console will be. What is known, is that the console will feature controllers with touch screens and cameras, system RAM and video capabilities very comparable to the Xbox 360 and PS3 and output to the TV at HD quality (like the Xbox 360 and PS3 as well).
The only other bit that is known is that the new console will in some way partly resemble the design of the Super NES from the early 1990's.

Will these mockups from IGN be a glimpse into gaming's future?

We will need to wait for E3 to find out!
