Cal lacrosse has had a tough season. First the program was cancelled, then revived, then head coach Theresa Sherry resigned after the season ended. A new head coach was announced today and from the looks of it, Cal has found a good one to lead this team into a new era. Lacrosse is a growing sport in the Pac12 as USC is fielding a team next year. BERKELEY - Ginger Miles, who won a national championship as a goalkeeper at Virginia and has served as head coach at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps the past two seasons, has been named head lacrosse coach at California.
