Sometimes, you just want the games to start and the teams to take the court. There isn't really any interesting ground we can rehash about the previous Cal-USC games. There were some fluky performances on each side, they were defensive-oriented, they were heavy on big man play, and they came down to the final shot. There really wasn't much more to that. Randomness ruled each contest, as it should rule this one this afternoon.

All I can tell them is go out and play as hard as they can. That's all I want from the Bears today. 40 minutes of hard-fought basketball. If I get that, I can live with the result. After all, what's been easy about their season?
