Fielding a side of frosh/soph ruggers, Cal blanked Division II powerhouse Cal Maritime 85-0 in Vallejo Wednesday evening.
The win extends the Bears' unbeaten streak to 11, giving Cal a 548-point scoring advantage in the College Premier League pre-season.
Eleven different ruggers scored tries for Cal this evening. Twofers were touched down by outside center Brad Harrington and scrumhalf Paul Bosco in the first half. With a 77 percent conversion rate, the Bears racked up their score at an average pace of 1.1 points a minute.
Next up is the Las Vegas Invitational Tournament on Feb. 11-12 when Cal squares off against Utah State, Wyoming and Air Force.
