Stay connected for news and updates

Cal has its first big piece of news on National Signing Day. Kameron Jackson becomes the latest Long Beach Poly prospect to end up in blue and gold, decommitting from the Washington Huskies this morning and making his move to the California Golden Bears. Jackson tweeted the news earlier this morning, and Cal Athletics officially received his LOI a few minutes ago.

Cal is in need of cornerbacks, which is why it was imperative the Bears earned the services of Jackson. Along with Stefan McClure and Joel Willis, the Bears have shored up a much needed position for the next few seasons.

Rivals: Three star recruit, 44th best cornerback, 54th best recruit in the state of California
ESPN: Three star recruit, 55th best cornerback
Scout: Three star recruit, 41st best cornerback

Welcome to Cal Kam! GO BEARS!
