Hey its almost Thanksgiving, which means it is almost time for Christmas. Although I have certain Grinch tendencies, which lead to my preference of Thanksgiving as a holiday over cute little baby Jesus's b-day, I am nonetheless making Christmas preparations. Namely, the development of a Christmas list, which has been a tradition in my family for as long as I can remember. These lists have become invaluable as my nuclear family has grown older, financially independent, and spread throughout the state, thus leading me to have no idea what my brothers and parents need. The lists enable me to purchase gifts my family actually want and/or need. The problem is, I need to create a Christmas list for myself, and I habitually struggle with them. For the most part, I hate shopping, don't get excited over new gadgets (I have never owned an ipod), trinkets, clothes, or other general indulgences (I prefer spending money on weekend trips). Thus, my list is limited to things I need, and very few things I want (I also don't trust my family to get me what I want, as the things I want are usually very specific). I generally strive for around ten items, and want to get the list out this weekend (to give the fam adequate planning time for any potential black Friday shopping). Thus, the question:
WHAT IS ON YOUR CHRISTMAS LIST?
My list consists of:
1) Black pair of dress slacks, no pleats
2) New black and chrome/silver belt (for work)
3) New running shoes
4) Pair of brown rainbows
5) Tire chains
6) Fingerless gloves to keep my hands warm while computering in my freezing office
Muy Aburrido!
