Since CalBears.com don't like to mention anything about injuries
the best source of info is probably the Daily Cal article which said that Robin collided with Tarah and suffered a head injury. Correy Johnson, on the other hand, sprained her ankle. There is no speculation in the article about whether they would be ready to come back this coming weekend nor whether Gehan would regain her “volleyball legs” and play her usual role rather than the Defensive Specialist position.

We Win!
Though it was as close as a 3-0 sweep can be – we won each set by just 2 points (27-25, 25-23, 27-25)
The #1 greatest threat to America: BEARS
Don't forget to vote for Tarah Murrey for the Lowe's Senior Class Award
Murrey is WAYYYYY too far behind in this voting.
The team needs to get healthy for the LA school this coming weekend
hopefully, both Correy Johnson and Robin Rostratter will be back and maybe Marlee Davis can get over her injury/some kind of disciplinary problem to give us more depth at DS
GO BEARS!

By the way, #1 Illinois falled to #4 Nebraska at Nebraska
it’s possible (and possibly most likely) that they retain their #1 ranking but with Cal sweeping a tough road trip, it’s also possible that #2 Cal will rise back to being #1

with #1 losing, why would they retain their #1 ranking? I realize they fell to #4, but they still fell.
Even with this loss, Illinois is 20-1, while #2 Cal is 21-2, #3 USC is 17-3, and #4 Nebraska is 17-1. So Illinois they still has the better record. But I could actually see Nebraska moving up to #1, since they only have one loss, with Cal staying at #2 and maybe Illinois at #3? In any event, this weekend’s games in Berkeley against current #6 Ucla and #3 USC are HUGE (especially since we lost to both of them in LA). I’m going to the Ucla game on Friday. I hope we get a big turnout for both games.
I blame Twist.
