As far as I know, Cal has not scheduled two non-conference games for next season. Texas Tech just dropped TCU from its non-conference schedule. Should Sandy try to get TCU to come to ATT park next year?
On one hand we will have a top 10 team come to play us at "home" guaranteeing a lot of national interest. Beating them would be awesome considering what they did to Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl and that now everyone seems to be scared of them. We will not end up like Arizona State this year with two FCS foes or having to schedule a non-conference conference game with Colorado.
On the other hand, We will be scheduling a top 10 team in a year where we will probably be rebuilding in a new environment. Loosing to them would make getting to a bowl all that more difficult since we will have Oregon, Furd, USC, Oregon State and Arizona State on the schedule.
Thoughts?
