Vote for your CGB Top-25 for Week 1!
A little later than usual thanks to the Boise/VT game, but here it is.
The instructions are simple and are provided at the top of the voting page. So go on ahead and vote!
Feel free to ask any questions or post your ballot!
The previous week's results are located as follows:
I wonder how many people will vote for Cal at #1? It was two for preseason... And hopefully this time we'll get more than a dozen voters...
The opinions expressed in a FanPost are, in every way, reflective of the opinions of every California Golden Blogs Marshawnthusiast. Moreover, they are reflective of every employee of SBNation, including Tyler "Blez" Bleszinski.

Probably wont be popular but I put Boise 10th. They were handed 17 points, blew that and managed to survive against a decidely average and hugely overated Virginia Tech team. National Championship contender my ass.
Inspiring and completing since1997 since2010!
Really? It was almost a home game for VTech, and I’m not sure what basis you have for calling them “decidedly average and hugely overrated”, other than losing to Boise St. I don’t have an actual problem with it simply because it’s so early and we really don’t know much of anything yet, though….

What’s really bothering you?
California Golden Blogs! To be grammatically correct, it`s "Sacramento!", not "Sacramento".
The possibility that a one-loss Longhorns team might be bumped out by Boise irks him.
Don’t worry man, Oklahoma and Nebraska will shatter those hopes early on.

A friend of mine who’s a Longhorns fan was incredibly distraught by the events of last night….

Looks good I say other than Furd at 19. What have they done that Cal hasn’t?
In other words, Go Bears!
Probably big on the Andrew Luck hype.

The #1 greatest threat to America: BEARS
You could say that about pretty much any BCS team that won last week.
The #1 greatest threat to America: BEARS
Exactly, so why not give Cal your vote seeing as how we’re Cal fans?
by Missing Barry on Sep 7, 2010 7:17 PM PDT up reply actions
Cause it counteracts the people who put them #1
I understand this is just for fun, and I’m not bothered by people who rank Cal. But we fans complain about how the media are stupid and biased and wrong. So when I’m doing my ballot, I try to not be like the people we complain about as much as possible.
The #1 greatest threat to America: BEARS
I don’t see the problem with it at this point in the season. Once some games have actually been played to let us start judging teams, then absolutely.
