|2||Ohio State (3)||1|
|23||North Carolina State||12|
Others receiving votes:
Michigan State, California, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Air Force, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Clemson, Missouri, Texas A&M, UCLA, San Diego State
Dropped out this week:
Georgia Tech, Oregon State
Biggest Difference from AP Poll:
Nevada +9, Utah +6, Arizona +6, Wisconsin -4
The top of the poll remains mostly the same with just some slight changes (Utah +3, Oklahoma -3) but the bottom is shaken up quite a bit as Stanford (+4), Auburn (+8), Nevada (+4) and Michigan (+5) continue their metoric rise while South Carolina (-5) and Texas (-16) fell heavily thanks to their losses. We have two new comers in North Carolina State and Florida St (!). Meanwhile USC continues to hold on to a spot despite being irrelevant to everyone but BruinsNation. Pac-10 brethren Oregon State falls out, only to inevitably return to the top later in the season.

The Five Most Confusing Teams Were...
- Florida State
- North Carolina State
- Southern California
- South Carolina
Most people had the most trouble figuring out where these five teams belonged. This list is limited to teams that are in the top-25 only.
Texas was everywhere from 25, low 20s, 9 (!), to not even getting a vote. Florida State went from 24 to 8 (!), to 25 to not being voted in.
The Five Least Confusing Teams Were...
- Boise State
- Ohio State
Most people were generally on the same page when it came to these teams. This list is limited to teams that are in the top-25 only otherwise all the crappy teams would top this list.
About two thirds of the voters had Alabama at #1 and everyone had them in the top-3. Boise had a range from 2-5 with one vote at 6 but most of them were for #4.
The Five Most Divergent Voters Were...
- Missing Barry
- Ursa Major
- Ravenous Ute
This avard was given to the five voters whose poll differed most from the overall Top 25.
Missing Barry's crazy ballot of the day had Florida State at 8, Florida at 2, LSU at 5, Miami (Fla) at 7, Cal at 17, Furd at 18 and Auburn at 24, just to name a few. Twist wasn't that far behind with Texas at 9, Cal at 16, Auburn at 20, Furd at 21, and Oregon State at 23.
The Five Least Divergent Voters Were...
- Rated-R Superstar
- 4ever Golden
This avard was given to the five voters whose poll differed the least from the overall Top 25.
I swear I didn't vote based on the results! I did have some variations! For example I voted for Michigan State at 23 not Florida State, NC State at 18 and uh... that's it. Rated-R Superstar was a little different with NC State at 25, Nevada at 18, Furd at 16 and Boise at 2.
