Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Will Never Top Michael Jordan

NFL Week 3 Open Thread

Because nothing would ease the pain more than Jahvid Best putting up two hundy and destroying the Vikings... Well, almost nothing.

And here's a poem so that I meet the 75-word quota.

What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

The opinions expressed in a FanPost are, in every way, reflective of the opinions of every California Golden Blogs Marshawnthusiast. Moreover, they are reflective of every employee of SBNation, including Tyler "Blez" Bleszinski.

Sebastian Jainakowski is one of the best kickers in the league. Three misses on the day.

I guess all Bay Area football fans have to feel miserable today. Note that there is no such thing as a stanfurd football fan.

He missed from 41, 55 and 32 in that order.

I just can’t believe he missed from 32 yards out. He makes over 90 percent of kicks between 30 and 39 yards. What I just witnessed was unbelievable.

That second miss was from 58, rather.

He made the 55-yard field goal.

Officials on the field, play clock still runs, San Diego has to take delay of game. Wow, this is ridiculous.

Like what is up with that clock management. Just let them score and see if you can tie. Better than letting it come down to an effective extra point.
