We talked a little bit about the remarkable late Jill Costello a few months ago, and now here we are at the culmination of her big event: The Jog for Jill 5k run in Golden Gate Park on Sunday at 5 PM. So far over $250,000 has been raised and at least 2300 have been registered in support of the fight for lung cancer, and they're expecting 3000! If you can, please contribute by either registering or donating to the cause.

I ask Cal fans to get the word out on this event to people who'd be willing to donate or walk this weekend. If we can get even a single dollar raised or an individual registered, it'll have been worth it (although we'd like to go well beyond that). Support your Golden Bear in both life and death.
