TV for Saturday's game...
Aggies vs Golden Bears coverage
Having traded DirecTV for Verizon Fios, I'm now discovering that Fios doesn't carry Comcast Sportsnet Bay Area. :o( OTOH, it goes get Versus, FWIW but that doesn't really help me at this point.
Anyway, any possibility to see the game on-line via outlets like Justin TV or can the game be ordered on-line somehow? Or, is there some way to order the game through Verizon?
I suppose it's karmic payback for preferring an all-inclusive internet/phone/TV package versus my ability to see Cal sports. :oP

I would also try ESPN3.com or atdhe.net

Just logged on to ESPN3.com to see their list of games for Saturday…and it looks like that outlet is not carrying the UC Davis game. (Insert comment about scheduling!)
Hopefully I’m not SOL…but I better prepare.

Go to a bar! Go to a friend's house! Go to an enemy's house who's not planning on watching the UCLA/K State game!!

Whittier, CA, where I live, is Ground Zero for the type of U$c fan you find in SoCal who roots for that team because there’s no other pro football team to root for…it’s not as if they graduated from anything. :oP
I’m chuckling thinking of the bartender’s response when I ask him to show the UC Davis game. ;o)

I, too am from Whittier, and am saddened that the “closest” bar showing the game is all the way in Santa Monica. Where’s the Orange County Cal love?
i'm here to clean your pool but i don't have a pool *bowchica bowow*

That’s too bad bars won’t put it on even if they have DirecTV and can access CSN CA
Auricursine— Used to live in LA and ran mostly w/ SC fans; definitely understand what it’s like to root for a team for reasons other than “they’re the best”

DirecTV across the country can access CSNCA? Do you happen to know what channel? I thought that was an exclusive comcast channel. I’m in Minnesota and have comcast which doesn’t broadcast CSNCA but I know people who have directTV who probably would let me come over if they indeed got the channel.
CSN CA is in the 600s on my DirecTV (698 I think), along with all the other regional sports channels. I assumed you can in fact get it everywhere if the person has the correct subscription, don’t know that for a fact

Denver or Boulder?
The betrothed Baha’i Women and i are leaving Davis (!) for a wedding this Saturday, arriving at just about kick-off – of the game, not the wedding. Anyone know of viewing opportunities in Denver? Boulder? My infertile imagination?
New York Time Warner
Anyone have any idea if you can watch the game in New York on Time Warner? Is there some channel that carries CSN CA games like FSN or ESPN 20?
(I already know which Cal bars are carrying the game, just want to DVR the game so I can replay Vereen’s 80+ yard TD)
help!
i’m a total cable rookie. i just got direct tv and live on the east coast. i told direct tv i want to see every cal game and they recommended espn gameday, but the pac 10 still has that lame agreement with fsn, right? anyone know the cheapest and easiest way to get every cal game with direct tv?
west coast directv always had the abc games regionally so i’m not sure if you’ll be getting those. if not you’ll have shell out for the gameplan which is pretty expensive.
otherwise, you should just add the sports pack which is like 10 bucks a month. that gives you the comcast sportsnet stuff. a lot of pac10 games (including cal’s) are on FSN and i think this year is versus back? not sure but you might want to check if FSN games are regional. if not, the sports pack usually gives you the out of region games as well (for instance, i was getting a lot of washington games b/c i think fsn has a fsn northwest channel).
summary: get the sports pack since most games not covered nationally should be covered there for pretty cheap. gameplan if you MUST get every single cal game but it’s super expensive.
