FLASH: Cal Loses to Utes in OT

The first collegiate seven rugby championship hardware is going home to Utah, not to California as the result of today's 26-31 overtime loss to the Utes.

The game ended with a try touched down by Utah's Don Pati two minutes into the sudden death period.

A pair of Cal tries were scored by Keegan Englebrecht,  who also converted his touchdowns. Dustin Muhn also scored twice, but the final conversion attempt by Englebrecht failed at the game's regular-time conclusion, leaving the score 26-all and forcing overtime.

For the tournament, the Bears scored 183 points and yielded 38.
