So here’s the deal, lets say you’re on a game show and you’ve been given five hours to spend $50,000.  Tell us what you would do.   

Ground Rules:

You can neither donate nor invest the money

You must choose 1 person to do everything with

You must choose a superpower to help you.  (Why? Show your work):

1) Invisibility

2) Travel at warp speed

3) Walk through walls

Sidekick: Leonardo DaVinci

Hour 1: Visit St. Petersburg and the Rembrandt wing of the Hermitage, stare at Rembrandt masterpieces, specifically Return of the Prodigal Son.  Discuss Rembrandt’s work with Leo, ie brush strokes, technique, etc.  Argue the merits of Baroque vs. Impressionism.  1 hour, $100

Hour 2: Head to Germany, rent an Aston Martin, drive the autobahn, blow Leonardo’s mind. 1 hour, $2000

Hour 3: Utah, Heliskiing for two. 2 hours, $10,000

Hour 5: London, Picadilly square.  Leo and I will gorge on the most expensive caviar in the world. Almas from Iran. 1 hour, $25,000

5 hours, $37,100. Harder than I thought to spend $50K. I would probably enjoy the Hermitage the most of all of the above.  And it would be the least expensive.  Funny how that is.
