Hey, CGB Cal Football Fans!
This Saturday, April 17, Cal Football will be hosting their annual Open Spring Practice. Come see your California Golden Bears for the first time since December, and the last time until September. If you've been jonesin' for your Cal Football fix, this is pretty much the only thing you're gonna get (outside of a summer full of uniformed, idle speculation at this and other fine publications) until mid-August at the earliest. Best of all, it's free!
For a better idea of what to expect, here's our Spring Game coverage from last year:

Moreover, for those who attend, stop on by and meet your fellow CGB'ers. Put some wacky faces to those wacky commentators! We'll be out there, almost certainly in advance of the 9am open gate time (that's right, 9am -- early this year, but that does mean less scorching sunburns for us pale folks), and we'll have a nice big banner for you to find us. Look for us on the east side of the stadium, perhaps about halfway up. We'll try for the 50-yard line, but that's understandably prime real estate, even for a Spring practice.
Our new banner - look for it!
So, whether you comment regularly, only occasionally, or have just been shyly lurking for fear of being BOOM! Lawyer'd!, feel more than free to stop by, say hello, and make fun of whatever ridiculous outfit Twist's wife allows him to appear in public in this time. It promises to be a chill morning of Cal football and enjoying the heck out of Memorial Stadium. Plus, the practice will be over early, giving you plenty of time afterwards to enjoy the Cal Day festivities.
