that solomon kid was really showin’ me something. we definitely need a slasher type like him to get some nice dunks and fire up the crowd.

I'm Scared

If my high school, St. Mary’s College High School in Berkeley, wins their next game then they’ll go to the state championship and most likely play Crabbe and Solomon’s high school, Price. Oh sh*t, I’m scared.

As for the Cal side of me though, I’m excited and can’t wait to see what they do.

Salesian graduate here!!!!

This Sal/SM rivalry has been amazing the last few years. 2 top quality programs always in the hunt for a state title

Was this a scrimmage against the JV team???

DAMN, and sh*t !! While I’m starting to get giddy for next year, it’s hard to tell how good they really are against that sort of defense. GREAT to see the highlights. Thanks.

I'd like to smell the Roses before I die.

Of course the highlights are only going to show the best, but man did Crabbe’s jumper look sweet!

Yeah, Crabbe’s jumper looks text book, if a little bit long in the windup. It is pure though.

Crabbe has pretty sick potential

His upside is like a more athletic version of Klay Thompson, who’s already remarkably good as it is.

It sure helps to recruit guys BEFORE they hit the growth spurt that takes them from being undersized to oversized for their position.

Solomon just dunked a lot, which doesn’t tell us that much, but he’s more of a long-term project anyway. The three new guards are the ones who have to step up next year for Cal to stay a good team (Franklin being the most key, although maybe Brandon Smith will show better with more consistent playing time next year).

Shawn Spencer: "I’m receiving a transmission from your husband. Really more of a voicemail, if I'm being honest. A status update. Perhaps a twitter."
Burton Guster: "I believe it’s called a tweet."
Shawn Spencer: "There’s no way I’m saying that."

He did just dunk a lot, but I really liked his aggressiveness in moving to the basket, both for dunks and for rebounds. He plays like he really wants the ball, which I like.

He has such a size an athletic advantage against the competition shown, that any conclusions drawn are immediately suspect. Will he keep being aggressive if that means he has to constantly bang with people heavier and stronger than him? How will he fair against players that box-out? He looks awesome in the video, but keep reservations.
