After the Cal-Cal Poly game, I had some time to kill before the volleyball championship match began, so I decided to make the trek up to Memorial Stadium to see what was going on. Obviously, there was nothing dramatically different in the structure, but the field was gone, about half the seats were gone, and the transformation had indeed begun! Enjoy the pictures I took!

Outside the North Tunnel—notice the huge pile of wood and debris where the staircase used to be.
View from Stadium Rim Way. What used to be the field is rolled up where the visiting team's bench used to be. To the left of the former field, is (what I think is) the metal benches stacked up waiting to be used in the end zone—no more splintery wooden benches. Hooray!
