After the Cal-Cal Poly game, I had some time to kill before the volleyball championship match began, so I decided to make the trek up to Memorial Stadium to see what was going on. Obviously, there was nothing dramatically different in the structure, but the field was gone, about half the seats were gone, and the transformation had indeed begun! Enjoy the pictures I took!

Looking up at what will eventually be the Student Athlete High Performance Center
View from Stadium Rim Way. What used to be the field is rolled up where the visiting team's bench used to be. To the left of the former field, is (what I think is) the metal benches stacked up waiting to be used in the end zone—no more splintery wooden benches. Hooray!

Looking out towards the Campanile . . . damn rain made everything blurry.
On our rugged eastern foothills, lies our symbol clear and bold? The Big C(-) is up there somewhere.
Well, that's it . . . I'll probably make the trip up there again in January. I'm sure others will post more pictures between now and then. GO BEARS!!!!
