Based on preseason guesses at skill level and playing time, Ken Pomeroy has projected the Bears men's basketball team to finish 8th in the Pac-10, with a roughly 15-17 record (some approximation needed because not all opponents are yet known). I think the defense will be a bit more stout than he is projecting, though the offense could easily be worse.
