Others receiving votes:
Baylor, Mississippi State, Florida, Hawaii, San Diego State, Northwestern, Pittsburgh
Dropped out this week: California
Biggest Difference from the AP Poll: Oregon State +7, USC +6, Mississippi St -6, Wisconsin -6, LSU -5, Florida St +4, Baylor -4
Biggest Difference from the BCS Poll: LSU -7, Mississippi State -7, Stanford +6, Baylor -5, Florida State +4, Wisconsin -4, Oregon State UNR, Southern California UNR
Shakeups as both Mizzou and Michigan State come tumbling out of the top ten (thanks to their thumpings by Nebraska and Iowa respectively) while Nebraska and Stanford [sic] take advantage and jump in. Other than that there's not many other big changes outside of NC State replacing Cal. Surprisingly Baylor is still not in the poll despite a 7-2 record. Wonder what it will take for CGB to push Baylor into the poll?
The Biggest Sunshine Pumper Award goes to...
... NO ONE, because apparently everyone thinks Cal sucks!
This award was presented to the user(s) who loved Cal the most out of everyone who voted this week and had copious amounts of sunshine pumping
No surprise here. I do think that this is the first week without a single vote for Cal.
The OMG Cal Sux Award goes to...
... Rated-R Superstar, Missing Barry, atomsareenough, JShufelt, 4ever golden, Berkelium97, Ursa Major, Ravenous Ute, and royrules22, all of whom did not vote for Cal!
This award was presented to the user(s) who held a glass half-empty look at Cal
That's all the voters.
The Five Most Confusing Teams Were...
- North Carolina State
- Southern California
- Oregon State
- Florida State
Most people had the most trouble figuring out where these five teams belonged. This list is limited to teams that are in the top-25 only.
Let's see here. Five out of nine voters ranked NC State anywhere from 23 to 25 while the other four didn't vote for them. Only four voted for USC but it averaged around #20 while the other five didn't vote for USC.
The Five Least Confusing Teams Were...
- Boise State
- Virginia Tech
Most people were generally on the same page when it came to these teams. This list is limited to teams that are in the top-25 only otherwise all the crappy teams would top this list.
Most folks put TCU in at #3 with an occasional vote at #2 or #4. Despite eight out of nine voters picking Oregon as #1 it wasn't the most confusing because JShufelt - of all people - picked the Ducks at #5.
The Five Most Divergent Voters Were...
- Missing Barry
- Ravenous Ute
- Rated-R Superstar
- 4ever golden
This award was given to the five voters whose poll differed most from the overall Top 25.
Missing Barry misses out again (see what I did there?). JShufelt had Boise at #1, Ohio St at #4, Oregon at #5, Utah at #8, Furd at #11, Florida at #16, Hawaii at #22 and no ranking of Wisconsin. Here's his explanation over at ATQ. Missing Barry had 'Bama at #3, Furd at #4, Utah at #11, Florida St at #13, Oregon St at #14, Mich St at #22, Wisconsin at #23 and Pitt at #25 (huh?).
The Five Least Divergent Voters Were...
- Ursa Major
- 4ever golden
This award was given to the five voters whose poll differed the least from the overall Top 25.
I didn't win this! Yay! atoms comes in at first with the his biggest differences being Wisconsin at #8, Iowa behind Mich St and Nevada at #20. Ursa Major comes in at two with his biggest differences being Ohio St at #16, Nevada at 20 and Miss St at #25.
