Golden Nuggets: Cal Fans Would be Thankful for a Win over Washington
After two weeks of everyone and their uncles predicting the score, this week's low profile matchup didn't garner much attention.
Ted Miller predicts a close Cal victory.
California 24, Washington 20: Another bowl elimination game. Huskies QB Jake Locker ripped Cal apart last year, so expect the Bears defense to want revenge. Can the Bears score enough to win? They should be able to at home against the Huskies' struggling D.
Three out of four Yahoo writers and 87% of their readers predict a Cal victory.
After the jump Tedford looks back on memories from Memorial, men's basketball prepares for the Old Spice Classic, and volleyball loses a tough match against ASU.

Happy Thanksgiving from your friends over at ATQ
We, too, would be thankful for a Cal win over Washington.

Good Luck This Saturday
I like your chances, and I hope that we can make it as competitive as Miller predicts.
Welcome to CGB, Bugs Dodger. I think you’ll find here that most Cal fans are quivering masses of insecurity and self-doubt. Can we beat UW this weekend? Sure, I guess. I’ll believe it when I see us complete a forward pass. And not fumble a snap.

Thanks, TwistNHook. We have much in common!
I keep watching games in which the participating teams “complete” this forward pass of which you speak, and I agree that it does, indeed, look like a promising tactic. I keep uging the Dawgs to try it, but I am starting to think that they can’t hear me through the television (or feel the projectiles I throw at them, either). Seriously, though (okay, I was already serious), you put on a great show against The Ducks, and I wish we had you in Seattle.
I’m glad the Pac-12 divisons shooks out the way that they did. It’s not going to be the same without SC (UCLA is like my drunken stepbrother — a visit from him once every four or five years is enough) but I think it’s a real good fit for all of us.
And, please, call me Bugs. No one uses my full name unless they’re telling me to stand before a verdict.

Surprised at how much the radio host at KJR knew about Cal
How sad is it that he appears to know more about the Bears than most radio hosts at KNBR do?
He also had some very complimentary things to say about Forsett.
