Cal Football: In SF

The Cal athletics department just released information about the 2011 season at AT&T Park. Today they released where certain sections will be (students are in the end zone), alcohol policy (the most important piece of information), parking, etc. I personally don't like the fact that the students won't be at midfield and also don't buy the reason why they stuck us in the end zone:

Pac-10 rules stipulate that student sections cannot be placed behind the opposing team bench. Due to the configuration of the home and visitor team benches and the donor seating areas, Sections 136-142 presented the best seating option for the Cal student section. The Cal student section will return to its customary midfield location in the renovated California Memorial Stadium.

Why couldn't the student section be behind Cal's bench, or, if they want those seats along (what is now) the third base line to be used for donors, why couldn't Cal's bench be moved on the side with the bleachers? Anyway, there's a great deal of information at CalFootballSF.com, so go check it out!
