Because nothing says I'm addicted to mediocrity like spending over 500 dollars on a brick.

Nets win!

The Nets were able to withstand the absence of Devin Harris and shoot a scorching 60 percent from the field to start their trip off with a 110-96 win over the Clippers on Monday night. The victory broke a 23-game road losing streak against the Western Conference.

The Nets were up 11 when Harris was ejected for a flagrant 2 foul on Blake Griffin midway through the second quarter, and they took that same lead into the half. The Clippers cut it down to four midway through the third quarter and down to three midway through the fourth, but the Nets got big baskets whenever they needed them and never gave L.A. a chance to tie.

The Nets allowed the Clippers to grab 17 offensive rebounds and sent L.A. to the line 38 times, but they held them to just 40 percent shooting from the field and more than made up for it with their offense. Brook Lopezled the way with 24 points on 10-for-16 shooting. He had just three rebounds, but did block three shots.Travis Outlaw scored 18 of his 23 points in the first half.

Eagles win!

It was an historic night in the nation’s capital. The Eagles defeated the Redskins 59-28 in a game where records were falling left and right. TheEagles set franchise records for points in a quarter and a half. When they concluded the first quarter up 28-0, it was the largest lead a road team had ever had after the first quarter in NFL history. In addition, the Eagles set a franchise record for yardage in a game with 593. It was the second most points the Eagles franchise has scored in a single game. The most was 64 points in 1934 against the Cincinnati Reds (yes a football team). The Reds folded as a team the next day. We'll see what happens the Redskins tomorrow.

All that said, the story tonight is undoubtedly what Michael Vick did. There's an argument to be made that we just witnessed the greatest performance by a QB in NFL history. Before you scoff, consider this... Vick became the first player in NFL history to have 300+ passing yards, 50+ rushing yards, 4+ passing TDs & 2+ rushing TDs. He had more fantasy points tonight than any player since the AFL/NFL merger. He finished just 3 points shy of a perfect QB rating. His final line was 20/28 for 333 yards and 4 TDs. He rushed for 80 yards and another 2 TDs. Vick also set an Eagles franchise record for the most TDs in a season before throwing an INT. He has 11 TDs and counting.
