Mike Mohamed Named Pac-10 Defensive Player Of The Week
Mohamed, a senior from Brawley, Calif., established a career-high with 16 tackles, while also adding a sack in the 15-13 loss to Oregon. He guided a Bears defense that limited the nation’s top offense to 15 points and 307 total yards, well below their nation-leading averages of 54.7 points and 567.2 yards entering the game. Very well deserved
Though Conte should have gotten some consideration. He may not have had as many tackles as The Prophet, but his plays came at important times.
Being an Old Blue means fearing any athletic success.
Congrats, MikeyMo!
I’m sure the recognition is bittersweet but throughout the game, I kept marveling at how everywhere LaMichael James wanted to be… MikeyMo was there!
A coincidence that Mikey Mo has rounded into end-of-season form after a season of injuries just in time for the Big Game?

I think not!
