Biggest Difference from the AP Poll: Oregon State +19, California +16, Mississippi State -6, Texas A&M -6, UCF -6, Utah +4, LSU -4, Arkansas -4, Virginia Tech -4
Biggest Difference from the BCS Poll: Kansas St -11, LSU -4, Mississippi State -4, Texas A&M -4, California UNR, Oregon State UNR
What a weird poll. I had a tough time deciding the bottom half of the poll and it really is a crapshoot. TCU jumps up to #2 thanks to the obliteration of Utah (who drops out of the top-10) while Wisconsin, LSU and Oklahoma State all gain thanks to Alabama, Missouri and Oklahoma's losses. Cal somehow gets a #1 vote and Oregon State doesn't move despite getting beaten by UCLA.
The Biggest Sunshine Pumper Award goes to...
... where the hell is baylor? who voted for Cal as #1!
This award was presented to the user(s) who loved Cal the most out of everyone who voted this week and had copious amounts of sunshine pumping
This is Rocksanddirt by the way. All I have to say is... WHY?!
The OMG Cal Sux Award goes to...
... 4ever golden, Berkelium97, atomsareenough, Takimoto, Ursa Major, JSHufelt, Ravenous Ute, and royrules22, all of whom did not vote for Cal!
This award was presented to the user(s) who held a glass half-empty look at Cal
Barely beating Washington State is no reason to vote for Cal according to the rest.
The Five Most Confusing Teams Were...
Most people had the most trouble figuring out where these five teams belonged. This list is limited to teams that are in the top-25 only.
Four folks voted for Florida in at #25 while four others did not vote for Florida at all. But one vote for Florida at #13 completely threw the divergence off scale and thus Florida ends up as the most confusing team. Three folks voted for Oregon St (between #19-#23) and four did not. But the one vote was in at #3 (Pac-10 homer...) and making it divergent.
The Five Least Confusing Teams Were...
Most people were generally on the same page when it came to these teams. This list is limited to teams that are in the top-25 only otherwise all the crappy teams would top this list.
Oregon would've taken the crown here but one vote at #3 and two at #2 is ever so slightly more divergent than eight out of nine folks *not* voting for Cal. This doesn't make a whole lot of sense with just nine voters.
The Five Most Divergent Voters Were...
This award was given to the five voters whose poll differed most from the overall Top 25.
where the hell is baylor? Rocksanddirt comes up with a decidedly odd ballot. Cal #1, Oregon St #3, Furd #4, Arizona #5, Boise #7, TCU #8, Auburn #10, Navy #23, BYU #25 among other crazy choices. JShufelt on the other hand had Boise at #1, Ohio St at #4, Oklahoma St at #5, Alabama at #6, Auburn at #7, Florida at #13, LSU at #16, and so on.
The Five Least Divergent Voters Were...
This award was given to the five voters whose poll differed the least from the overall Top 25.
atoms once again is the middle of the pac
k and gets fifth place in both awards! Congrats! Berkelium's biggest changes were Alabama at #10 and Stanfurd at #8.
