Others receiving votes:
Southern California, Kansas State, California, North Carolina State, Virginia Tech, Northwestern, Penn State, Texas, San Diego State, West Virginia, UCLA, Oregon State, Maryland, Temple
Dropped out this week:
Texas, North Carolina State, Penn State, Southern California
Biggest Difference from AP Poll:
Nevada +10, Arkansas -5, Miami (Fla.) -4, Oklahoma -3
Oregon leaps over Ohio State on the back of their pounding of the Furd (who slips 2 spots to 14) but it's still not enough to usurp Alabama as the #1 team in the country. Nevada continues its rise up the ladder (with us naturally liking Nevada a lot more than the AP voters) while Florida and Wisconsin continue their drop. A lot of changes at the bottom as 'SC, Texas, NC State and Penn St all drop out to provide room for Michigan State, Missouri, Air Force and Oklahoma State.
The Biggest Sunshine Pumper Award goes to...
... Missing Barry who voted for Cal as #16!
This award was presented to the user(s) who loved Cal the most out of everyone who voted this week and had copious amounts of sunshine pumping
He isn't alone as Twist voted for Cal at #17 and I voted for Cal at #25. But he apparently has more faith in our Bears than I do.
The OMG Cal Sux Award goes to...
... PandaBear, Rated-R Superstar, JO @ UCSD, Berkelium97, Ursa Major, Josie Becker, chowder, Ravenous Ute, atomsareenough, DucksSuckQuackQuack, 4ever golden, and CJ Barker, all of whom did not vote for Cal!
This award was presented to the user(s) who held a glass half-empty look at Cal
But these guys are not impressed with a blow out loss to an ostrich and a missed field goal.
The Five Most Confusing Teams Were...
- Missouri
- Oklahoma State
- Air Force
- Wisconsin
- Michigan State
Most people had the most trouble figuring out where these five teams belonged. This list is limited to teams that are in the top-25 only.
Other than Wisconsin these are all the new comers to this week's edition. Missouri ranged from 18 to 23 to 25 to not being voted at all.
The Five Least Confusing Teams Were...
- Alabama
- Oregon
- TCU
- Boise State
- Arizona
Most people were generally on the same page when it came to these teams. This list is limited to teams that are in the top-25 only otherwise all the crappy teams would top this list.
When 13 out of 15 people vote for a team in the same spot (in this case #1) that team will usually lead the spot here. Oregon was #1 according to 3 people, #3 according to two and the rest (10) they were #2. That's pretty consistent.
The Five Most Divergent Voters Were...
- chowder
- Ravenous Ute
- Missing Barry
- TwistNHook
- DucksSuckQuackQuack
This avard was given to the five voters whose poll differed most from the overall Top 25.
Hey look it's a new winner! What did chowder do differently? Let's see here... Oklahoma at #4, Arizona at #5, Nevada at #15, Air Force at #16, Florida St at #17, USC at #18 (!) and Temple at #25 to name a few. Ravenous Ute had Utah at #5 (no surprise there), Michigan State at #9 (really?), Michigan at #13, Northwestern at #15, SDSU at #22, and Maryland at #25...
The Five Least Divergent Voters Were...
- 4ever golden
- Josie Becker
- JO @ UCSD
- atomsareenough

This avard was given to the five voters whose poll differed the least from the overall Top 25.
4Ever Golden's top 7 reflects the hivemind. You have to go to #8 to see the first change (Auburn instead of Utah who is at #9). His biggest difference is South Carolina at #17 (three higher than the final poll). Josie Becker's biggest differences were UCLA at #23, Michigan State at #22 and Penn State at #24.
