Cal on TV! Oregon State and Oregon telecasts confirmed

Cal-Oregon State will be a 12:30 PM PT/3:30 PM ET kickoff on Fox College Sports, mattsarz confirms. Find a friend with awesome satellite packages or hit the bars. (HT CaliforniaEternal!)
Cal-Oregon will be a 4:30 PM PT/7:30 PM ET kickoff on Versus.

If we get regional coverage for the Wazzu game, it's highly likely that all of Cal's games will be televised this year. All I can say is: Come quickly Pac-12 Network.

Is Fox College Sports the same thing as Fox Sports West (here in LA)? Or is it its own channel like Fox Soccer Network?

It's a separate channel

offered by DirecTV, U-Verse and some cable companies as part of their “Sports Packs”. I don’t think Dish Network carries it.

last week’s Cal – U$C game was on Fox too, but as long as i can remember in the last 5,6 years, that game was always on ABC 7.
and so’s Cal-Oregon.

What’s funny is that because so many of our games have been on FSN (colorado, ucla, usc, arizona state, furd), we’re getting more national broadcasts this year than any other year before. Rarely, if ever, did those regional ABC games hit the east coast (or even midwest) prior to the reverse mirror agreement this year.

There’s a window in the 3:30 PM PT/12:30 PM ET for local telecasts on FSN, which means FSNW won’t be obligated to broadcast any other games. Cal-Wazzu would then be freed for CSN CA.

Dish is blowin' it

Dish actually is currently not carrying ANY fox sports channel. After Halloween they won’t even carry regular ol’ Fox. Since the Pac-10/12 is locked in with Fox for another year, stay away from Dish Network.

My neighbor has Dish and Got the U$C game last week - wasn't that Fox Sports Bay Area?

I watched it at his house. It seems that CSNBA = FSBA – at least sometimes?

Anways, I watched the game off of Dish. I think his package was America’s Top 120+ with a sports option. He got it to have NFL Redzone, which is pretty cool. Firehose of scoring.

My Dish package, sadly, doesn’t include that channel. Though I do get VS. I have a super-grandfathered special HD package, that has this odd semi-premium tier (I get the NHL channel, NFL network, Vs., Epix1 & 2, MGM, Universal, and now Sony channel). It only costs $35/month. Once upon a time it was called “Absolute HD”.

But I can never change it, or it will cost me at least $70/month to get all my current channels back – and the like 3 other I want but don’t have…

I bailed on AT&T DSL after 5 years.

Slow and erratic. Router problems.

I now go with Comcast for Internet and Digital Voice (but not TV!!! The sales reps were so confused), and Dish for TV.

I’m fairly happy. Comcast is occasionally slow internet, but more reliable than my AT&T DSL, and it costs less. And now I have unlimited nationwide calling from the home phone – because AT&T cell reception is crap for my iPhone!

So Happy i’m paying out my ass for this “sports Package” on DISH..only thing thats worth a damn is teh NFL RedZone for Raider home/blackout games..but not having Fox Sports Network games like Cal vs Oregon St. today is totally F’ed up..if teh PAC-12 is going to be solely on these stations & DISH still doesnt have it looks like i’m going to have to change my service..waht a drag this day turns out to be!!!
