Throwback uniforms

For those interested, I’ve got a picture up of the throwback uniforms that Oregon is wearing today on the live-blog that we’re having over at EMFMV:

Cheers Ken. I always liked those Duck unis and I never understood why they changed their color scheme so dramatically in both football and basketball.

Must be. But still, you could do all of those crazy designs and keep the colors rather.

I’m with you. Their throwbacks are better than the 1,000 different combinations they come up with.

One could say the same...

for our hyperactive uniform changing. I still can’t embrace the gold tops, even though the team tends to win while playing in them.

But I’m a traditionalist in that respect, and don’t care about teams moving product. Pick a good combo and stick with it.

Okanes with a stunner:

The Bears are going th rough their pregame reps, and it appears Syd’Quan Thompson is ready to go and will start. But a surprise on the other side: Josh Hill is taking first team reps instead of Darian Hagan. It appears Hill will get his first career start today.

So the only thing Oregon can do is screen passes.

by Tizoc on Sep 26, 2009 1:00 PM PDT reply actions

Oregon’s spread offense is just way too boring.

Not hard. The problem is that the clones keep trying to eat people’s brains.

by Kodiak on Sep 26, 2009 1:02 PM PDT up reply actions

This is why we don’t let CBKWit build the cloning machine.

2nd down – Masoli to Paulson complete for a 1st down, insiderthe 10

by totallyawesome on Sep 26, 2009 1:05 PM PDT reply actions

I don’t know why you only rush 3 on 3rd and 7.

by The Hombre on Sep 26, 2009 1:05 PM PDT reply actions

Gamble that Masoli would force one and throw an int. I don’t have a prob with mixing it up.

by Kodiak on Sep 26, 2009 1:06 PM PDT up reply actions

2nd and Goal – James is gobbled up in the backfield

What an AWFUL pass there.

Whose domicile? OUR DOMICILE!

by Berkelium97 on Sep 26, 2009 1:06 PM PDT reply actions

We’re not respecting their outside receivers. They’re probably going to use trips and bubble screen us to get our defenders outside of the box.

by HydroTech on Sep 26, 2009 1:06 PM PDT reply actions

I think they’re trying to defend from Masoli going downfield. They’ll live with bubble screens.

LOL. The announcer says Masoli was trying to hit him in the back of the endzone…Which is true if he meant 10 rows up.

by Kodiak on Sep 26, 2009 1:07 PM PDT reply actions

The fans are booing

but Masoli made the smart play. Nobody was open.

by Shadwhand on Sep 26, 2009 1:09 PM PDT reply actions

I’m sure the special teams practices this week involved a cattle prod. Maybe some vaseline.

Well, looks like the WRs are catching now

by Tizoc on Sep 26, 2009 1:10 PM PDT reply actions
