BCS AQ Teams' Travel Distance 2006-09

I've heard a lot of hoopla about certain teams *cough*Florida*cough* not traveling very far for their non-conference games of late, being the nerd that I am I had to run the numbers for myself.  I don't have any analysis to go along with it but I thought I'd share the data with you guys.

Below is the approximate distance in miles each BCS AQ teams travels during the 2006-2009 seasons (12th game expansion); bowls and CCGs are not included.  Distances are approximated from each teams home stadium to the stadium in which they play their away/neutral game with Earth approximated as a sphere.

For reference:

Berkeley to Palo Alto: 30 miles

San Francisco to Los Angeles: 342 miles

Seattle to Tucson: 1219 miles

Los Angeles to New York: 2451 miles
