We're plaing ok, but the scores don't reflect that.
If this game was at home, it would have been 28-7 at halftime.
Agreed.
Jahvid himself has more rushing yards than the whole Minnesota’s offense.
Average starting position
Cal—their own 20
Minnesota—their own 45

Special teams should step up.
Field positions clearly affecting the score.
Yes they do. Worst way to start the half: with kickoff unit.

It’s probably going to be Seawright.

How come they didn't interview Tedford or the other coach?
Isn’t that how they normally end the half?

On the last kickoff, Tavecchio's left foot was about 6 inches away from the ball before he kicked off with his right.
He’s gotta get into a rhythm of things and get his steps in order.
It's kind of sad to put it on one guy
But Hagan was directly responsible for both touchdowns in losing Decker. Cal might have to consider putting the taller Nnabuife in or going to double coverage.

I’d rather just see Syd with perhaps some safety help. Syd may be giving up a few inches but at least he’ll stay with Decker.

I am so excited for Florida to destroy Lane Kiffin’s crappy team so I can stop hearing quotes from that press conference.

Hey Cal - Looks LIke You Guys Might Have A Tough 2nd Half Ahead Up Here In Minneapolis
Goofy Gophs can be dangerous. But I have to admit I am sooo impressed with Jahvid Best. Just an amazing athlete. He makes it look easy sometimes.

I'm also not really liking Cal's attitude
They are way too cocky with their hard-hitting.

I hate seeing that
I think it makes guys look worse if they bark and holler after routine plays. There’s nothing special about tackling someone. Price’s celebrations are great. Hagan’s not so much.

2. Get Syd on Decker.
3. Go Bears!

a little better on the special teams.

Is their QB really that elusive?
I mean sure we’re trying to get arm tackles on him, but I gotta think that we should have had him at the 1 since our DEs have ~40 pounds on him.
I think that just might be the difference between this Minnesota team and the USC team.
Has got me worried.
I think we could chase Barkley like that if we can get through the $C line, but I am not sanguine about the prospects of doing so…
by VandyImport on Sep 19, 2009 11:11 AM PDT up reply actions
dude. the ref are kind of late calling off the play. syd was standing up straight for like 5 seconds.
if Syd was a QB they would have blown it dead 6 second earlier…

I agree with the announcers. Best should have been on the field for that third down.
I still believe in Ryan Garko...........
No, they just have sequences that Vereen gets about once a half

Minnesota has been an excellent 2nd half team. They’ve pretty much contained our offense in this one.

Forget our silly ranking
It gets everyone all riled up every year, and then disappointed. We’re an above-average team with a couple of marquee players. Minnesota is a mid-level team in a weak conference, but they’re playing at home. We’re a lousy road team.
you’re being too nice.
