I respect Tweedledamn for saying that he liked the Stanford Band over the Cal Band. But you gotta ask yourself, when the Stanford Band gets crushed and the Cal Band is doing the crushing, which one REALLY is the better band??

Also, check out the Halftime show (Southern Rock) and the Alumni Band Halftime show (marched by the first ever 8 months pregnant drum major!). GO BEARS!

There is some great symmetry in these two events, considering how much the Cal Band took from OSU in the 1950’s. (Non-banders, look in particular at the uniforms and marching styles of the two bands.)

I’m really looking forward to the games in 2012 and 2013!
