Appearantly, everyone and their mother is downing the Cal Koolaid this off season....Bleacher Report Downs a Pint.
Oregon, Oregon State, and California are all possible alternate candidates for the Pac 10 championship. Oregon however, lost its premier halfback, Jeremiah Johnson, and elite cornerback, Patrick Chung, to graduation.
The departure of Johnson will hurt the Oregon offense, which strives off a running game and averaged over 250 rushing yards last season. Chung's absence will be relevant on defense because of the emergence of speedy threats Jahvid Best, Jaquizz Rodgers, and Joe McKnight on opposing teams in the conference.
Oregon State and "Quizz" may be the underdog of the chase for the crown, but they are not as talented and well-rounded as the California Golden Bears.

She does appear to use apostrophes correctly, so she’s got that going for her.

Non-Wilner/Eeyore media/blogger consensus: Almost certainly the 2nd best team in the Pac-10, best shot at unseating USC, predicted regular season record of 10-2 with probable loses to USC and random Pac-10 team on the road.
Well, now we have our baseline. I’m glad we have high expectations, but it scares me when losing 3 games might be viewed by many people as a disappointment. My hope for the year: undefeated in Memorial Stadium, which would give me desired revenge against USC, OSU, Maryland and Arizona.
