Here is an interesting matchup.  These are two very different memes.  Diante Jackson included just a few people and took place recently.

This idea quickly took off, and was a fixture of the DBD during subsequent weeks. The joke was to parody titles of popular games featuring the upcoming mascot in the most hilarious way possible. The most hilarious joke EVAR? Perhaps not. Still, it was a popular and easy pastime to participate in, and whatever amuses the masses can't be all bad, right?

Oh, and credit to Rishi for what is still my favorite game of all time, 'Truth or Cougar!' Any meme that allows Rishi to be funny HAS to be worth keeping.

"Thoroughbred bragged that highly touted recruit Diante Jackson would come to Cal.  This was particularily important, because he goes to a local high school 20 minutes away from Berkeley.  He did not show. Carp started expressing his disappointment at not grabbing him, even though Tedford had apparently stopped recruiting him.  Nonetheless, T-Bred got flustered, and we started pouncing everytime T-Bred talked about possible recruiting issues. His reactions were the funniest part of the whole situation."
