3 point shooting and Theo

Much has been said nearly all season about Theo being the #1 3-pt shooter in the nation. And we've all noticed that he not only hasn't been making as many of his shots recently, but also has been reluctant to even attempt them.  So, I wanted to see exactly where he stood. Here is a table of just Pac-10 play. As you can see, Theo is only tied for 7th in terms of accuracy and doesn't rank in the top 10 in # of makes per game (during conference play).

That said, it was nice to see Theo driving the lane and putting pressure on the defense from the interior. He also jacked up 11 3's in that game - the most by far all season. Too often he's passed up shots, and we complained. He must be a CGB reader!

Keep shooting, Theo, both inside and out. Defenses are going to be geared to stop Randle and Christopher first and second. We simply have to have a 3rd scorer. All great teams got 'em. I love it when you drive the lane. You are a big bodied guard who can draw fouls with your size. Make 'em foul you! Then pop the J when they sag. But, uh, I guess you already know that, huh? Good luck, Theo. We're cheering for you here in Concord, home of DLS!
