I was about to post this myself. As a former swimmer and water polo player myself, I’m always excited to see Cal aquatics do well.
Alright, fine, I admit it! "Hydration Technician" really DOES just mean "water boy!"
heh, yeah, i saw that. looks like we posted it at the exact same time.
i’ll freely admit i know nothing about swimming OR diving, so if you’ve got anything insightful to add, by all means, we’d love to hear it.
So, basically, you gotta Go Bears!
Swimming is funnny,
in a way. Its like track, in that individual records and times often matter much more than a team score. I always enjoyed water polo more than swimming, since polo is an actual team sport. Winning a big meet like this obviously requires incredible talent and depth, to be able to win 5 events and also claim enough other high finishes to build the point total.
Cal aquatics has been on fire lately. Hopefully we can keep that up, and have some later start times for football in the fall so I can go watch our polo team!

WOW! Congrats to our girls.
It’s a shame that some of our minor sports aren’t televised… cuz I really like watching swimming. I love all sports that take refs and judges out of the equation.

HAIL HYDROTECH!
Doesn’t that only leave swimming and track?
