CGB rugby meet-up?
This is rather late to organize, given that the event is in little more than 18 hours; but with the surprisingly widespread interest in the Cal-BC rugby match, would it be good to organize a get-together at the Rugby game? Twist, Rags, AndBears, Carp, Yes We Cannon, and JerrottWillard45 have all committed to going to the Rugby game. With so many CGB-ers there, I'll probably end up going although I know nothing about rugby. Better yet, it looks like it shouldn't rain during the match, as rain won't arrive until the evening.
If one of the Marshawnthusiasts wants to push this post to the front page to try to get more people interested in going, that would probably be helpful.
To sum up administrative details, gates open at 11am and you can purchase tickets at the door. $8 for adults and $4 for seniors/military. Anyone under 18 and Cal students can get in for free. This takes place at Witter Rugby Field just east of Memorial Stadium.
The opinions expressed in a FanPost are, in every way, reflective of the opinions of every California Golden Blogs Marshawnthusiast. Moreover, they are reflective of every employee of SBNation, including Tyler "Blez" Bleszinski.

Bummer, a lot of my students are on the Rugby team, I keep meaning to get to a game one of these days.....
but I already have plans tomorrow. :( I think they are home again in mid-April….or is it late May…..sometime later this season….
There's no crying in baseball!
Any chance someone could take pics of the stadium construction on their way up?
I'm Fijian. Yes, the water is like that.
Last I passed, there wasn’t a whole lot going on.

I probably can. Maybe I’ll do a fanpost about it.
"After review, it has been determined that the previous play was not reviewable"
The Pac-10: where quality officiating happens.
That would be great. If you could highlight the staging areas, grade beams, stability trenching, and any potential commodity supply line chokepoints that would be great as well.

Twist, CalBandGreat, and I went by there earlier today. Twist should post some pictures of the area. Much of the area on the western half of Memorial is fenced off. There were a lot of I-beams in the parking lot in between Maxwell field and Memorial. There was some sort of trench going around something, but I don’t know what its purpose was. It was really hard to see what was going on, so you’ll have to forgive my crappy descriptions. Maybe Twist’s beautiful pictures and brilliant observations will paint an enlightening picture of what’s happening.

I'll be there - but how do I find you guys?
I’ve never met any of you before…I’ll be wearing a Cal shirt, so look for me :-)

i’ll be wearing a blue-and-white baseball cap with an interlocking ‘U-C’ on it.
So, basically, you gotta Go Bears!
I'll have a regular blue cap with yellow "cal" on it
And two 5 year old twin boys with blue cal hats, and blue California Football shirts. Not sure what my lovely will wear yet.

Do they have a concession stand?
Can I get hot dogs and the like, or should I bring food with me?

Cal beats UBC 28-15!!
Awesome game. I was in the 2nd row on the equivalent of the 50-yard line!
