Cal 2011 QB Recruit Brett Smith, Salem, OR

 Now that the Bears have their '10 QB recruit in Austin Hinder, it's time to start looking at QB recruits for the class of 2011 and one name that is becoming more and more known out is a talented dual threat QB from Oregon named Brett Smith.  He stands 6'3 and 190 according to Rivals.com and runs a 4.7 40.  Cal is actively recruiting him along with most of the Pac-10, Boise State, Utah, Northwestern, Nebraska, Clemson, Colorado, Kansas, Georgia, Alabama, and Michigan.  He will be attending the US Army Combine in January. Smith is a name that Cal fans will grow accustomed to hearing in recruiting circles as we examine the prospects for the class of 2011.
