hey suckers
I’m at the Shanghai airport. In – what, about 23 hours I’ll be in San Diego after stops in Hong Kong and San Francisco.
Straight from the airport to the tailgate. I might die.

Is it rong that I think Cal’s gonna get rolled tomorrow? I just don’t see this going well. Just a gut feeling, and I hope I’m wrong. It’s OK if they lose, so long as they show up. That would be a scenario that we haven’t seen in 2009.

I hope they win, but my gut is telling me their going to get rolled also.

Yes, this seemed to be the gut of many people versus Furd too. I hope this ends up similarly.

I thought so, but I’m feeling pretty optimistic after going to the P-Bowl events today. I’m really looking forward to this game now.

Did anyone else notice...
…the fantastic photoshop job MAACO (or whoever) performed superimposing the Vegas strip behind the Sam Boyd Stadium to make it appear as though the stadium is in the middle of a god forsaken desert, no where near the strip?
Undefeated in Southern California since Oct. 2009...
Speaking of football
Okay, this is more related to NFL, but these NFL team robots are cute! Heh. I’m wondering whether to buy one as a gift for someone… Hrm.

Actually, I hope they might consider expanding it to college teams. I’d love to have one decked out in Cal colors.

Well it will be
once the officials finish fixing the net so BYU can kick their extra point.
I have no idea
how helpful it will be given their costumes and lack of manual dexterity in them.
Probably not very since we’re now at a commercial beak. LOL.
Close range...
wind shouldn’t be that much of a factor. It’ll be more of a factor on longer FG attempts probably.
BTW, Sean Canfield
has 2 attempts, 0 completions. Ouch. Hopefully he gets something going on the next drive.
crazy wind won’t help

OrSt's runner just ran into his own guy.
At least he got back to the scrimmage line, I believe.

Makes me nervous about our game. Tedford has always seemed willing to try field goals and punts anyways despite the existence of wind.

Did they just
fumble another ball?
Also, it’s never a good day when your backup QB that no one’s ever seen before throws a pass.
They’re in a “we just spent all night in Vegas going wild” mood. Totally predictable, Oregon laid an egg like this in 2006.

Hey now... :)
As a Mormon and Cal alum, I must remind you that Las Vegas was practically founded by Mormons, and the church has a temple there. I love Vegas!
Go Pac-10! Go Beavs!
More than just ANtics: http://www.louisgray.com/live/
wow
osu really sucked tonight. this is a pac10 embarassment…i hope cal shows up or we could be zero-for-mormon. ouch.
That is funny. What? Is the Pac 10 playing Boise State as well?
More than just ANtics: http://www.louisgray.com/live/
That sucked
Yakuza in Japan cut off a finger in atonement for a major mess-up. I’m about ready to chop off my flat tail. :-(
Hope you guys can go beat the other MWC mormons! I actually kind of like Utah, but I’m still pulling for Pac-10.
Not surprising, I guess
These Mountain West teams have a lot to play for against the Pac-10. And Oregon State had no real reason to care about this game, especially after getting stuck in a second-tier bowl game after almost making the Rose Bowl.
It doesn’t bode well for tomorrow.
My first thought seeing this unfold...
…was that this might be the downside to the Pac-10 scheduling regular season games on that first weekend in December. I understand the thought of extending the season (i.e., staying relevant while the other conferences play their championship games on 1st Saturday in December). Not to take anything away from BYU, but I can’t help but think OSU still had a hangover from the disappointment in the Civil War. Who wouldn’t be disappointed? They went from Rose Bowl to Maaco Bowl, and then had to play just 19 days after the Civil War loss.
The other conferences that play games on the 1st weekend in December don’t have this problem. The losers of those conference championship games go to bowls played on December 30 or later.
Praise be to Tedford!
