Yeah, according to Tedford, Best’s arms and legs were moving. It appears to be a concussion. Never thought I would be so happy to hear someone had a concussion.

there is some notion of a "second impact syndrome"
i don’t know much, other than that the effects of a concussion are obviously made much worse when someone experiences 2 within a short period of time.

But it’s not good and if it IS “only” just another concussion I wouldn’t let Jahvid play again for the rest of the season.
I'm checking some of my old notes
And I have it written down that if you play again without completely recovering from the first concussion, you are already at a 50% risk of getting another one. Not sure what that means (since obviously it would depend on how many times you get it), but being dropped from such a tall height obviously wasn’t good.

Michael Lewis on the Niners has had three this year already and he played last week. But yeah, definitely should be out for a while.
He should be held out for the season if its a concusion
Because two in that short a span of time leaves you VERY vulnerable to serious injury.

but I think experts in such thing don’t like using major/minor to describe concussions .. in that all concussions are serious.
