This is sad. Once again, even out own faculty sees athletics as nothing more than than a pathetic money sink. I mean, what do they want to do, cut athletic programs that are on life support as it is? Even if you cut funding to the money sports, their losses are going to affect every other program.

Damn you, Academic Senate! Take your noses out of your books(not to mention your asses) and think clearly for a change.

The worst part is that they quoted Alice Agogino. I really respect her opinions… well, most of them anyway :-(

this has been going on since the ‘60s…since the downfall of cal sports. not one pac10 championship since then in the sports that count.. it makes you wonder. fuck these outoftown ’teachers’….get a real fuckin job somewhere else and don’t ruin it for the rest of us. fuckin losers.
