New Blog: Cottagers Confidential for Fulham FC Fans!

Join us for yet another installment of the California Golden Blogs Podcast. This week we discuss the upcoming Oregon State game, the gameday experience, Oregon envy, women's b-ball, and even some men's b-ball. It's a smorgasbord of awesomeness. Thanks to danzig for teaching me how to embed the audio without autoplay.

PS The UCLA player I was thinking of, but couldn't remember in there was Dan Gadzuric. Dan Gadzuric. GO BEARS!

How long is it?

That’s What She Said!

It’d be good to know in advance, so I can plan my listening time accordingly.

I dunno, 30 minutes? If you start it and then hit the clock, it switches over to time remainng.

I didn’t think Twist could get any gayer than he normally is but… well, he’s an overachiever. Funniest podcast so far tho.

I hope people like listening to these. We’re trying something new with this, and while I think they’re fun to put together, I have no idea if people enjoy listening to them who don’t know us.

Also, for those who’ve listened to the last two podcasts, are we getting better at this? How can we improve?

So, basically, you gotta Go Bears!

I’ve listened to and enjoyed all of them. Do you have a hit counter?

To answer your question: Less Old Blue whinin’, more t3h funniez…. or maybe special guests from the CGB. In all seriousness, you guys are doing a good job. Don’t worry about it.

Going out on a limb here — I’m guessing the Chief Justice was HydroTech.

I had assumed that it was the same Supreme Court Justice that presided over Twist’s impeachment hearing, but now you have me second guessing myself!

I’m not really familiar with all the tools they’re giving us, but i think it tells me that the archived downloads so far are 49 (for the first episode, one we only publicized at the bottom of a DBD), 137, and 84 so far for this week.

I enjoyed it, and it was definitely more substantive than the last two – although strangely that’s not a huge factor for me. I just want to be entertained in some fashion. I appreciated the differing topics – covering three sports kept things fresh.

I’ve enjoyed both of them without personally knowing any of you :). It features the same breadth and good analysis that goes into the written posts and a good overview of the week. Perhaps in the future you can get some guests – like some of the written interviews you have posted. There really is no weekly Cal talk show out there so perhaps this podcast can help to fill the void.

I especially enjoyed this week’s discussion of the game day experience. As a current student, sometimes I feel like it’s easy to lose track of how the rest of the stadium experiences and feels about certain things since the student section has so many unique features.
